AVERAGE SALARY IN JULY REACHED 1,556 KM IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

The average net salary in Republika Srpska for July 2025 amounted to 1,556 KM, according to data from the Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics.

Compared to July of the previous year, the average salary increased nominally by 9.9% and realistically by 4.7%.

However, when compared to the previous month (June), the average salary was 0.5% lower nominally and 0.8% lower in real terms.

The highest average net salary in July was recorded in the financial and insurance sector, reaching 2,007 KM, while the lowest average salary was in the construction sector, amounting to 1,206 KM.

All sectors recorded a nominal increase in net salary compared to the same period last year.

The average gross salary for July was 2,394 KM.

Monthly inflation in Republika Srpska for July stood at 0.3%, while annual inflation, comparing July 2025 to July 2024, was 5%.

The highest annual increase in prices was recorded in the “food and non-alcoholic beverages” category, rising by 10.6%, driven by increased prices of fruits, vegetables, and soft drinks. On the other hand, the largest price drop, of 3%, was seen in the “clothing and footwear” category, due to seasonal discounts on apparel and shoes.
