INSPECTORATE WARNS: AEROO APP ILLEGAL, USERS FACE PENALTIES

Recently, a new application called Aeroo APP was launched online, presenting itself as a modern passenger transport service. However, the Inspectorate of Republika Srpska has warned that it constitutes an attempt to operate an illegal activity.

According to available information, the app offers public offline passenger transport services (taxi services) without fulfilling legally required conditions – such as registered business activity and possession of a valid driver’s license by those providing the transport.

"Considering that this is an attempt to carry out illegal activities, the competent authorities will intensify inspections in the upcoming period and take legally prescribed measures against all individuals found engaging in these activities," the Inspectorate stated.

The Inspectorate of Republika Srpska also appeals to all citizens to refrain from registering or using this application for passenger transport services without meeting the legally prescribed conditions.

"Anyone engaging in this activity illegally will be sanctioned according to applicable regulations, which may include administrative fines and temporary confiscation of the vehicle for 30 days," the statement added.
