The Auto-Moto Association (AMS) of Republika Srpska has installed a new live traffic camera at the Vardište/Kotroman border crossing near Višegrad, allowing all road users to check real-time traffic conditions and potential delays at this frequently used international crossing.
AMS representatives stated that the decision was made due to the high number of inquiries received via the 1285 Info-Dispatch Center, with drivers often asking about traffic congestion at this specific crossing.
Located 19 kilometers east of Višegrad, on the border with Serbia, the Vardište/Kotroman crossing is designated for both passenger and freight transport. It was renovated and fully reopened in 2020, and has since seen a steady rise in traffic volume.
The AMS also reminded the public that live camera feeds are now available for 15 other border crossings through their official website, helping travelers plan their routes more efficiently.
These include: Gradiška, Rača, Brod, Svilaj, Šamac, Pavlovića Most, Šepak, Karakaj, Donja Gradina, Kozarska Dubica, Zupci, Novi Grad, Kostajnica, Klobuk, and Hum.
In addition, the AMS website provides traffic updates for border crossings between Croatia and Serbia, offering comprehensive coverage for regional travelers.
