Public relations associate Sanela Šimun said that over the three days of the fair, the full tourism offer of Srpska was presented, with a special emphasis on skiing, rafting, canyoning, and other forms of active, adventure-oriented travel.

“In addition to showcasing the latest offers of our destinations, a large number of B2B meetings were held with Greek travel agencies, tour operators, and other interested tourism professionals,” Šimun noted.

She highlighted that the Tourism Organization of Srpska received a certificate of appreciation from the Consulate General of Serbia in Thessaloniki and the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Greece — an acknowledgment she described as both an honor and motivation for even more dedicated work.

Šimun added that the booth of the Tourism Organization of Republika Srpska was visited by Greek Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni. She also expressed gratitude to Serbia’s Consul General in Thessaloniki, Jelena Vujić Obradović, and the head of the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Greece, Jelena Jovanović, for their trust and support.

“This gesture recognizes our joint efforts to strengthen economic, tourism, and cultural cooperation among Serbia, Republika Srpska, and Greece — cooperation that still has enormous potential for growth and new initiatives,” Šimun said.

She recalled that this year’s fair featured the tourism organizations of Banjaluka, Trebinje, East Sarajevo, and Foča, as well as the Jahorina Olympic Center, the “Hercegovačka kuća” brand operating under the Trebinje Agrarian Fund, and the Foča Rafters Association.

The promotion of Republika Srpska’s tourism at the Thessaloniki fair was carried out in cooperation with the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Thessaloniki and the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska.
