Last year, travel agencies and tour operators from Republika Srpska had almost 45 million marks in revenue and made a profit of over 4.5 million KM.
According to official data from the APIF, the agency "Happy travel" from Bijeljina generated the highest revenue, with citizens of Republika Srpska spending 7.4 million KM on travel through this agency.
However, as in previous years, the substantial revenue did not correspond to substantial profits, resulting in a modest profit of only 44,000 KM for this agency with 12 employees.
Following "Happy travel," "Dinamik turs" from Brčko reported the next highest revenue, earning just over 6.2 million KM with 12 employees and declaring a profit of 654,000 KM.
The next in terms of revenue but with the highest profit was "Otraks" from Srbac, which with nine employees generated 6.1 million KM and achieved a profit of two million KM.
"Unis turs" from Banja Luka, with eight employees, had revenue of 5.8 million KM and a profit of about 97,000 KM.
"Travel plan" from Banja Luka also reported million KM revenues, with four employees generating more than 5.2 million KM and earning a profit of 189,000 KM.
Next, "Prevoz Vuković" from Kozarska Dubica, which includes a travel agency, had 15 workers, generated 3.98 million KM in revenue, and made a profit of 400,000 KM.
The travel agency "T4F," whose owner Saša Marković is on trial in connection with the "corona contracts" affair, generated revenue of about 2.3 million KM with four employees and reported a profit of 269,000 KM.
Completing the list of travel agencies with million KM revenues, "Globus travel" from Pale, with three employees, made 1.73 million KM in revenue but a minor profit of only 8,700 KM.
"BiS travel" from Banja Luka, with two employees, generated revenue of 919,000 KM and a profit of 19,800 KM.
