THE THIRD VISEGRAD WINE AND CHEESE FESTIVAL GATHERED PRODUCERS FROM THE REGION

The third edition of the Višegrad Wine and Cheese Festival, held in Andrićgrad, brought together 10 exhibitors from Republika Srpska, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

The festival continues to grow year after year, attracting an increasing number of exhibitors and visitors, said Jadranko Janjić, director of the Višegrad Tourist Organization.

“Our intention is for this event to continue growing and become a recognizable tourist and gastronomic event of Višegrad,” Janjić said.

Among the exhibitors was Aleksini Vinogradi Winery from Laktaši, which presented visitors with a selection of wines, including Tamjanika, Chardonnay, Barrique and Vranac, as well as locally produced fruit brandies.

The Association “Romanijski Skorup-Kajmak” also showcased its products, presenting visitors with protected Romanija skorup-kajmak, a traditional dairy specialty, along with several varieties of traditional cheeses.

The festival once again offered visitors an opportunity to discover the rich gastronomic heritage of the region, taste local wines and traditional products, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Andrićgrad.

The event further strengthened Višegrad’s growing position as a destination for cultural, tourist and gastronomic experiences.
