"DERVENTA OPEN 2025" TO CELEBRATE 25TH ANNIVERSARY ON THE BANKS OF THE UKRINA RIVER

The first weekend of July in Derventa is, as always, reserved for sunshine, great beach volleyball, and good company by the Ukrina River.

This year marks a special milestone as the Volleyball Club "Derventa" organizes the 25th edition of the traditional beach volleyball tournament – "Derventa Open 2025."

“We’re celebrating 25 years of the tournament, which makes it the longest-running event of its kind in the region. That’s why this year we’re especially excited. Derventa Open is known as an international tournament, with participants coming from neighboring and even more distant countries. That tradition proudly continues this year,” organizers stated on the official website.

The tournament will take place on July 5th and 6th, starting at 10:00 AM, on the courts in Derventa City Park.

Competitions will be held in two categories – men’s and women’s, in a 2-on-2 format across two courts. The entry fee per team is 50 KM, and the total prize fund amounts to 4,000 KM. The prizes are distributed as follows:

1st place: 1,000 KM

2nd place: 600 KM

3rd place: 300 KM

4th place: 100 KM

Official registration is open until July 4th, and teams registering afterward or among the last will have to play qualifying matches.
