A group of creatives from the Central Cultural and Artistic Society "Lepa Radić" in Gradiška has come together, bringing individuals involved in creative work with the aim of mutual support, sharing experiences, learning new techniques, and promoting and selling handmade crafts.
The creative group was formed in March of this year and includes both experienced creators and those who are just beginning their journey into creative work.
The group’s interests range from decoupage, souvenirs, arrangements, jewelry, crocheting, knitting, weaving, soap making, candles, decorations, and items made from wood and glass, to felting and more.
"It is evident that there are many individuals in
Gradiška who create unique products worthy of attention. However, there hasn’t
been an opportunity for more serious organization that could improve the
position of creatives and make their work easier. With the formation of this
group within the Central Cultural Society, creatives now have the chance to
collectively find solutions for easier and more productive work. Besides the
recreational aspect and socializing, this form of organization also has
entrepreneurial potential that will be developed in the coming period. This is
very important, as the presentation and marketing of products have emerged as
one of the challenges," say representatives from CKUD "Lepa Radić."
The Creatives Club offers a space where creatives can work
together, socialize, hold workshops, and also exhibit their products. The plan
is for the space to be fully operational by September.
"This is a novelty in our town and enriches the tourist
offering, as it serves as a kind of souvenir shop for handmade crafts.
Alongside this, the Club and its works will be promoted on social media under
the name 'Kreativno Gradiška.' The group now has 30 creatives, and we invite
all interested individuals to join and contribute. All information can be found
on our official social media profiles," say the representatives from CKUD
"Lepa Radić" Gradiška.
