SEPTEMBER 26, 2025 – A DAY WE WANT MORE OF

In the Republic of Srpska, September 26, 2025, will be remembered as one of the most joyful days of the year — with 46 babies born in just 24 hours!

According to reports from maternity wards across the region, Srpska welcomed 27 girls and 19 boys on this remarkable day, bringing new life and hope to communities across the entity.

The highest number of births was recorded in Banja Luka, where 16 babies were born — 7 girls and 9 boys. In Bijeljina, 8 babies were delivered (6 girls and 2 boys), while Doboj celebrated 7 new arrivals (5 girls and 2 boys).

Gradiška welcomed 5 newborns (4 girls and 1 boy), Prijedor saw the birth of 3 babies (2 girls and 1 boy), and in East Sarajevo and Zvornik, both cities recorded one girl and one boy each. Trebinje celebrated the arrival of two boys, while one girl was born in Foča.

This day stands as a symbol of life, joy, and the future — a reminder of how precious and hopeful each new beginning can be.
