With the development of a walking trail and the installation of new outdoor furniture, Ribnik is, for the first time, gaining a fully arranged riverside area along the Sana River — a space that existed for years only as untapped potential.
Today, it is already clear that a small, peaceful recreational zone is taking shape, offering both residents and visitors a brand-new way to experience the river.
The final touches are still ahead: planting grass and trees, as well as installing solar lighting, which will further enhance the atmosphere and make the area enjoyable throughout the day.
The project, known as Sana Green Trail, is being implemented by the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Ribnik, with co-funding from the Municipality of Ribnik. Activities are carried out within the Via Dinarica call, implemented and financially supported by UNDP, with backing from AICS Tirana / MAECI and the Embassy of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This new riverside area will soon become an ideal place for leisurely walks, relaxation, socializing, and recreation — and one more reason to add Ribnik to your travel plans.
