SINGLE “IDEMO” – AN AUTHENTIC SOUND FROM BANJA LUKA

Renowned guitarist and singer-songwriter from Banja Luka, Duško Šobat, returns with a powerful new single titled “Idemo”, offering a fresh blend of rock and soul wrapped in his signature artistic vision.

The arrangement was crafted by Duško himself in collaboration with guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Mladen Bojić, who also handled production, mixing, and mastering duties. Vocals and backing vocals were performed by Bojić, with recording sessions taking place at “Kosnik” Studio under the technical guidance of Dejan Savić. The result is a warm, organic sound that reflects the chemistry of the creative team.

The track features a rich lineup of instruments: Duško delivers the guitar parts, Bojić adds bass, programming, and additional guitars, while keyboard contributions come from Stevan Milijanović and Nikola Savanović. Percussionist Milan Kosić (“Jimmy”) provides the rhythmic backbone.

Visually, “Idemo” makes a strong impression with a striking music video developed in collaboration with Pink Room Studio. The video was directed and shot by a skilled team, including cinematographer Sebastian Zelić and editor Tajana Dedić Starović. Alongside Duško, the video features appearances by band members and performers such as Slađana Zrnić, Goran Branković, Isidora and Luna Radulović, Miloš Drljača, and Vojin Bašić.

Duško Šobat Group has been active since 2013, known for fusing elements of fusion, jazz, rock, and Balkan tradition into a distinctive musical identity. Their debut studio album Raskoš was released in 2017 under the label PGP RTS. The group has earned acclaim for their dynamic performances at major festivals like Nišville and Guitar Art Festival.

With “Idemo”, Šobat offers a bold step forward—a more mature songwriting approach and a production style that feels both fresh and urban.
