The outcome of the segment Writers Write to Kočić is the book “Dear Petar…”, published by the Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska, and presented at the Banski Dvor Cultural Center.

Through various literary forms, prominent contemporary authors—Berislav Blagojević, Milanka Blagojević, Stevo Grabovac, Slobodan Jović, Jelena Kalajdžija, Fedor Marjanović, Sanja Savić Milosavljević, Tanja Stupar Trifunović, Milan Rakulj, and Mihaela Šumić—wrote letters to the iconic writer Petar Kočić.

The book will be distributed to all final-year high school students in the Republic of Srpska, with the goal of showing younger generations that Kočić is not merely a schoolbook figure, but a living symbol of courage, spirit, and literary excellence.

During the book launch, participants of the segment Citizens Write to Kočić also shared their contributions. The “Imperativ” association received 113 heartfelt letters from the public. Inspired by Kočić’s legacy of truthfulness, passion, and bravery, these letters were written by Branka Ljubojević, Nataša Blagojević Glušac, Dragan Mance, Siniša Balta, Anastasija Mihajilo, Brane Moconja, and Miloš Štrkić.

The program reinforced Kočić’s enduring relevance and his ability to inspire honest and courageous expression, both from acclaimed authors and everyday citizens.
