In that regard, a public call has been issued to all street performers, as well as to those who would like to try their hand at it, to apply for participation in this unique event. The festival brings together artists with vibrant energy, capable of capturing the attention of passers-by of all ages through their voice, movement, color, and sound.

Organizers emphasize that all artists and groups are welcome, regardless of gender, age, skill level, professional or amateur status. This includes musicians, singers, actors, performers, dancers, painters, animators, and other creative individuals.

Applications are open until April 27, 2025, and must be submitted via email to: trotoart.bl@gmail.com. Each application should include the following:

Name and surname of the performer

Name of the group or ensemble and number of members

A short description of the performer/group (since when they exist, what they perform, etc.)

Type of performance (concert, performance, etc.)

At least one photo from a previous performance (recommended)

Based on the submitted applications, the Project Team will carry out a selection of participants and create a detailed festival program.

For organizational and financial reasons, a larger number of spots will be reserved for participants from Banja Luka and the surrounding area. However, a limited number of places will also be available for participants from other parts of Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and neighboring countries.

“TrotoArt” is part of the “Banja Luka Spring 2025” program. The festival was first held in 2022, launched as a new city initiative aimed at bringing together artists—both amateurs and professionals—whose dedication and talent enrich the cultural life of the city.

In 2023, the Festival’s mission was expanded to support the development of a regional platform for the arts—a space for connection, collaboration, and dialogue between artists and their audiences.
