MONODRAMA “THE BRIDGE ON THE DRINA” COMES TO BANJA LUKA

Renowned Serbian actor Tihomir Stanić is bringing the monumental work of Ivo Andrić, the only Yugoslav Nobel Prize laureate, to Banja Luka in the form of a monodrama performance of “The Bridge on the Drina” on November 3.

The performance will take place at 8:00 PM at the City Theatre “Jazavac”, offering audiences a unique theatrical experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional stage performance.

Tickets go on sale starting November 12 at the Obilićevo Hall box office, available on weekdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

“The Bridge on the Drina” is a powerful one-man show that captures the timeless essence of Andrić’s literary masterpiece. Tika Stanić becomes the narrator, witness, and character all at once, guiding the audience through centuries of history carved into the legendary bridge.
