"METAPLASMA, THE CASE OF BIRDS" AT THE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART

The discussion included the film's director Nemanja Babić, producer Sarita Matijević, exhibition curator Sanja Kojić Mladenov, co-curator Mladen Banjac, and MSURS director Sarita Vujković. They highlighted ecological themes and exhibition aspects through artistic and film practice, with a particular focus on the film's subject: endangered birds—vultures—in the Uvac Nature Reserve. The film portrays these birds' survival, which is threatened by human activity and has now become dependent on human intervention.

Directed by Nemanja Babić and written by Neda Radulović, the film delves into these issues with a unique perspective.

The exhibition "New Era: Artistic Discourses on Social and Climate Change" is part of the "Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans" (CC4WBs) project, funded by the European Union. This initiative aims to promote dialogue in the Western Balkans by strengthening the cultural and creative sector and enhancing its potential for socio-economic impact in the region.
