BANJALUKA JOINS UNESCO CREATIVE CITIES NETWORK

This year, Banjaluka has become a full member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, and a team from the largest city of the Republika Srpska represented it in Braga, Portugal.

Milada Šukalo, advisor to the mayor of Banjaluka, announced on her Instagram profile that this is a significant step for the city on the Vrbas River and an opportunity to share and promote its rich musical heritage with the world.

"Together with my dear colleague Danijela Kajkut, I had the honor to attend the 16th UNESCO Creative Cities Network conference in Braga. I am especially proud that this year Banjaluka became a full member of this prestigious network and participated in the UNESCO City of Music cluster! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this success, and we look forward to future projects and collaborations," said Šukalo.
