BANJALUKA CEVAP OFFICIALLY PROTECTED WITH GTS DESIGNATION

Banjaluka cevapi have officially been protected with the "Guaranteed Traditional Specialty" (GTS) label, ensuring the preservation of the authentic recipe for future generations, said Aleksandra Simić, the authorized signatory in the Department of Economy and Local Economic Development.

The City of Banjaluka supported this initiative, created in collaboration with the Association for the Preservation of Guaranteed Traditional Specialty "Banjaluka Cevap," its members, the Faculty of Technology at the University of Banjaluka, the Veterinary Institute "Vaso Butozan," and the City Development Agency.

"The GTS label contributes to the preservation of our city's rich culinary heritage," said Simić, adding that efforts are also being made to further promote and increase the visibility of the Banjaluka Cevap brand internationally.

For all interested parties wishing to join the initiative to improve the standards and promote Banjaluka Cevap, the call is open, and applications can be submitted to the City Development Agency Banjaluka.

She also expressed gratitude to all the partners involved in this significant initiative.
