PHOTO WALK THROUGH THE "GOLDEN CAULDRON OF SEMBERIJA"

The traditional event "Golden Cauldron of Semberija 2024," organized by the Tourist Organization of Bijeljina, was held for the 22nd time last weekend in Banja Dvorovi.

This event always attracts great attention, bringing together over a thousand citizens of Bijeljina, nearby Semberija towns, surrounding municipalities, Serbia, and members of the diaspora who spend their vacations in their homeland. The gathering was marked by a fantastic atmosphere.

A remarkable number of teams participated in the preparation of fish stew and paprikaš. The three-member jury had a challenging task, but after extensive tasting and evaluation, they declared that the best stew was prepared by the team from the Semberija village of Čardačine.

The second place was won by a team from the Semberija village of Kojčinovac, while the third place went to the team "Front" from Bijeljina.

The first-place team was awarded a large grill, presented by the Mayor of Bijeljina, Ljubiša Petrović. The second-place team received a cauldron, presented by the President of the Bijeljina City Assembly, Aleksandar Đurđević. The third-place team was awarded a small grill, presented by the Director of the Bijeljina Tourist Organization, Jasmina Abdulahagić.

The winning teams also received trophies and medals. An honorary trophy, as a recognition for long-term and successful cooperation, as well as support for all women, was awarded to the members of the Women's Association "White Angel" from Dvorovi.
