To the delight of many citizens and tourists visiting Banja Luka, a new section of the promenade along the Vrbas River will soon be available. This section will extend from the "Alibaba" restaurant to the Green Bridge, leading to the "Raj" beach.
Milada Šukalo, the mayor's advisor, visited the construction
site of this part of the promenade. She emphasized that the city's
administration aims to reconnect the Vrbas River with the residents of Banja
Luka.
"One of the most beautiful projects we are implementing
is the construction of the promenade along the Vrbas River. I must say that I
am very pleased to have had the opportunity to work on these projects over the
past few years, and we will continue with these efforts. Currently, we are
working on connecting the promenade from the 'Alibaba' restaurant to the Green
Bridge, covering a distance of about 800 meters. By completing this project, we
will have a landscaped path stretching from the renovated beach in Srpske
Toplice to the 'Raj' beach, totaling about 5 kilometers in length," Šukalo
said.
The opening of this new section of the promenade is expected in two months.
"We are thrilled with everything we are accomplishing,
as our goal is to reconnect the Vrbas River with Banja Luka and its citizens,
which is becoming more of a reality every day," she emphasized.
Recently, Banja Luka received another oasis for enjoyment –
a beautifully constructed promenade between the "Alibaba" restaurant
and the new city beach in Srpske Toplice, fully equipped and adapted for all
visitors.
