- This pre-season has been exceptionally vibrant at the Banja Luka Dajak Club. Over the weekend, we were delighted to host a significant number of tourists from Malta, returning for their second year with us, in truly remarkable numbers, stated representatives from the Dajak Club.

They further added that they welcomed tourists from the Netherlands who are exploring Bosnia and Herzegovina, relishing its tourism potential.

- If the pre-season sets the tone for what lies ahead, we anticipate an unprecedented influx of tourists keen to savor dajak boat rides, they remarked.

The dajak is a symbol of Banja Luka, a unique watercraft found only in this city, propelled not by motors or oars, but by a pole pushing off the riverbed. This indigenous and cherished asset of Banja Luka is on its journey towards being listed as a UNESCO heritage.
