TOBL HIGHLIGHTS ACCESSIBLE TOURISM AT “TOURISM FOR ALL – REPUBLIKA SRPSKA WITHOUT BARRIERS” CONFERENCE

The panel presented key steps and activities implemented by the Banja Luka Tourist Organization in recent years to improve accessibility and create equal conditions for all visitors and residents.

IMPROVING ACCESS TO TOURIST SERVICES

As part of its efforts to make tourism more accessible, an access ramp has been installed at the premises of the Banja Luka Tourist Organization.

The improvement enables easier and unhindered access to the organization’s services for people with disabilities and visitors with reduced mobility.

RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT ACCESSIBLE TOURISM

The Tourist Organization has also implemented a digital campaign focused on educating the public and raising awareness about the importance of accessible tourism.

The campaign aims to highlight the needs of people with disabilities and promote tourism facilities and services that are accessible to a wider range of visitors.

A NEW WEBSITE WITH ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

A new website for the Banja Luka Tourist Organization is currently under development.

The website will include dedicated sections focusing on accessibility, providing visitors with relevant information about accessible locations, facilities and tourism services in the city.

BETTER INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

Continuous work is also being carried out to collect information and improve the availability of data about accessible locations, attractions, facilities and services throughout Banja Luka.

Reliable and easily accessible information is an important part of creating a tourism environment in which visitors can plan their trips according to their individual needs.

The Banja Luka Tourist Organization remains committed to developing inclusive tourism and creating an environment in which the city's attractions and experiences are equally accessible to every visitor.
