A delegation of 50 beekeepers from Slovenia, led by Prof. Dr. Goran Mirjanić from the Faculty of Agriculture in Banja Luka, had the opportunity this weekend to experience the authentic spirit of the Krajina region.
During
their visit, the Slovenian beekeepers toured the well-known “Krajiška kuća,”
where they were warmly welcomed by the staff. The guests were also greeted by
Bojan Pećanac, Director of the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development,
who wished them to take home the most beautiful memories from Banja Luka.
The successful organization of the visit was also supported by the beekeeping association “Košnica,” which played a key role in initiating and coordinating the gathering
Despite
the large number of visitors, the hosts emphasized that the atmosphere remained
warm and welcoming.
“Although
we could barely fit into two groups, our hearts are full. It may have been
crowded, but we once again proved the old saying: ‘Where people are not
quarrelsome, even a small house is not cramped.’ We thank the beekeepers from
Slovenia for their visit and look forward to future meetings and the exchange
of experiences,” representatives of “Krajiška kuća” stated.
