The newly opened Banja Luka city park with a lake and the scenic lookout on Banj Hill have quickly become must-see spots for tourists visiting the largest city in Republika Srpska.
“I received one such brochure about city tours in Republika
Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Banja Luka, of course, stands out as a
key destination. Among the attractions listed to visit are the new city park,
the lookout, promenades, and more. This is what we dreamed of and aspired to
achieve. Our vision in this regard has now been fulfilled,” stated the Mayor of
Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković.
The newly opened city park, featuring a lake, has quickly become a major attraction, significantly enriching Banja Luka’s tourism offer.
“With its vast area, walking paths, and natural beauty, the
park provides an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment, both for locals and
tourists. As the largest park in the city, it offers a new space for
recreation, outdoor events, and an excellent opportunity for visitors to
experience the natural beauty of Banja Luka in a new way,” said the Banja Luka
Tourism Organization, inviting everyone to plan a visit to the city on the
Vrbas River and enjoy this unique natural setting.
The best view of the city can now be enjoyed from the new
lookout on Banj Hill, which has been open since the end of August this year.
Not only does this new addition offer tourists a picturesque
viewpoint, but it also serves as a delightful spot for residents and outdoor
enthusiasts who frequently visit Banj Hill.
