Amid strong competition from more than 300 submitted projects, the project of the Banja Luka City Tourist Organization stood out as the only international project to reach the final of the 7th International Tourism Marketing Competition “PRObrand 2025,” held in Moscow. At the same time, it became the first representative from the Balkans to participate in this prestigious competition since its establishment.
At the final award ceremony, the project of the Banja Luka City Tourist Organization won third place in the category of tourism product promotion, bringing significant international recognition to the largest city of Republika Srpska in the field of tourism marketing.
The “PRObrand 2025” competition, organized by the Eurasian Commonwealth of Tourism Industry Specialists, once again confirmed its core mission of connecting regions and countries, as well as strengthening cooperation among stakeholders in the tourism market.
In this context, the participation of Republika Srpska in this unique project was assessed as a true diplomatic success for the organizers and partners, with special emphasis on the fact that Banja Luka was the only international project to reach the final stage of the competition.
Winning third place serves as confirmation that Banja Luka is successfully building a recognizable tourism identity and positioning itself alongside major and well-established destinations on the international market. It also provides additional momentum for the further development of tourism products and the promotion of the city in foreign markets.
