Mostar is the host of the fourth "Erigo Dance Star 2025" dance competition, held in the sports hall at Bijeli Brijeg, bringing together a thousand dancers from the region to showcase their dance skills.
The international competition is organized by the Erigo-D dance and cheerleading club, with dancers of all ages participating in various dance styles, from performing arts disciplines to street dance.
"This is our fourth competition, featuring more than 1,500 dancers with over 2,000 performances," said Erigo-D club coach Dajana Markotić for Fena.
She added that the competition gathered 34 dance clubs from across the region, with their performances being judged by an international jury.
"A novelty in this year's competition is the Impro Dance Challenge, where dancers sign up for an improvisation challenge to music provided by the organizers. We have also prepared a 'Gala Night,' featuring the top 10 choreographies of the competition, during which cash prizes will be awarded," Markotić stated, as reported by Fena.
Among the partners of "Erigo Dance Star" is the City of Mostar, whose Head of the Department of Social Affairs, Božo Ćorić, addressed and welcomed the attendees on behalf of the City.
"Dance is an art, and art itself connects both people and cities. This is a wonderful event, and we will continue to support such initiatives," said Ćorić.
