The “House of Republika Srpska”, bringing together products from the well-known Hercegovačka kuća and Krajiška kuća, will officially open in Vienna on December 11, confirmed Veselin Dutina, director of the Trebinje Agrarian Fund.
“For
the first time, Hercegovačka kuća will enter the EU market together with
Krajiška kuća, uniting the two brands under one name — the House of Republika
Srpska,” Dutina said.
He
explained that an initial group of 10 to 15 local producers from Herzegovina
will be represented in Vienna, all of whom have met the strict EU food-control
and export standards required for placement on the Austrian market.
Since Austria is known for rigorous quality analyses and certification procedures, the product range in the House of Republika Srpska is expected to expand gradually in the coming period.
“This
is a project we are truly proud of. When we opened Hercegovačka kuća, we could
not have imagined that one day we would enter the EU market,” Dutina added.
The
project has been realized in cooperation with members of the Serbian community
and Serbian businesspeople in Vienna, as well as with the support of the
Representative Office of Republika Srpska, all of whom played a key role in its
organization and successful launch.
Dutina
also announced that preparations are underway for the opening of a Hercegovačka
kuća in Novi Sad, led by the Trebinje Agrarian Fund. He expressed gratitude to
Herzegovinian producers who continue to expand their cooperation with
Hercegovačka kuća year after year.
