NEW INITIATIVES TO PROMOTE TOURISM IN BILEĆA

Enhancing the promotion and development of tourism in Bileća is becoming a priority for the local community, aiming to provide tourists with access to the rich and authentic experiences the municipality has to offer.

Representatives of the Tourist Organization, the Bileća municipal leadership, and the Cultural Center held a meeting with Marko Radić, Head of the Tourism Promotion Sector at the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska, and Bojan Vučurević, Head of the Tourism Department of the City of Trebinje.

During the meeting, discussions focused on legal frameworks and regulations, registration and categorization of accommodation capacities, as well as the current tourist offer and opportunities for its improvement. Special emphasis was placed on mapping local resources, people, and producers to allow tourists to experience the authentic offerings of Bileća and its surroundings.

These activities are part of a broader process of systematic tourism development, with a focus on valorizing local potential and involving the community.
