LAKTAŠI VILJAMOVKA – A FAVORITE IN GERMANY

Savoring every sip of rakija made from the finest Williams pears—the queen of pears—is an experience you can find at Ilija Mijatović’s estate in Šušnjari, near Laktaši.

On a 1.5-hectare family farm, they cultivate various pear varieties alongside the renowned Čačak selection and Stanley plums.

Established in 2009, this household has proudly produced the first certified organic rakija in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We are among the rare producers offering rakija with a whole pear inside the bottle, and ours is entirely eco-friendly. It’s no surprise that our product has found its way to true rakija lovers not only in our country but also to many of our people abroad, especially in Germany, where it serves as a taste of home," say the Mijatović family.
