Workers from the Rogatica Tourist Organization and the local Department of Economy have cleaned and improved the area surrounding the waterfall on the Pršin Stream, one of the region's hidden natural treasures. The team cleared litter, installed signposts, and placed an informational board at the site’s entrance.
“We kindly ask all visitors to respect this beautiful natural site by not leaving trash behind and helping preserve the environment for everyone’s enjoyment,” the Tourist Organization stated after the cleanup.
The Pršin Stream is located about 15 kilometers from the town of Rogatica. This natural gem originates from Kamenski Stream, which flows year-round thanks to abundant springs coming from the surrounding villages of Solakovići, Prosječeno, and Kača.
Carving its way through rugged, rocky gorges over a two-kilometer stretch, the stream eventually flows into the Prača River. Just before merging with the river, it forms a stunning, approximately 30-meter-high waterfall that captivates every visitor with its raw beauty and power.
Due to the challenging terrain, the area is most frequently visited by hunters and passionate nature enthusiasts, making it a truly special destination for those seeking untouched landscapes and a bit of adventure.
