Gacko and its surroundings hold great and underutilized tourist potential, as recently discovered by the team of the show "Seeker of Nature," which focuses on exploring natural and historical sites.
Thanks to the Volujak, Zelengora, Maglić, and Lebršnik
mountains, which surround Gacko, as well as the Čemerno mountain pass, this
municipality is ideal for the development of various tourist and adventure
activities that connect with nature.
In the Gacko area, there is also the Mountain Camp
"Volujak," which attracts many tourists. Visitors are also interested
in the Gacko shepherds' huts, located in nearby mountains, where they can
experience the beautiful mountain scenery that surrounds this part of
Herzegovina.
For hiking enthusiasts, the "Kuk" via ferrata on Volujak Mountain has recently been made available, further enriching Gacko's tourism offerings.
"We visited two caves, a lake, and hiked up to Lebršnik
today. The views from Lebršnik left us breathless, and the caves were just as
impressive. Come to our Gacko and see for yourself how this region has been
unfairly overlooked, and how much it has to offer if you just scratch beneath
the surface," said the "Seeker of Nature."
This show focuses on exploring natural and historical sites,
and Vuk and his team have guided us through various places of our mountainous
Balkans in an engaging video segment.
