Located just a few hundred meters from the Zlatibor–Sirogojno road, it is only 19 kilometers away from the tourist center of Zlatibor.

This impressive cave has attracted the attention of experts since the early 20th century. The first written records about it can be found in the minutes of the Serbian Geological Society from 1901, while the first speleological research was conducted by the renowned scientist Jovan Cvijić, the founder of scientific speleology, between 1909 and 1913.

With its natural beauty and rich history, Stopića Cave today stands as a must-see destination for visitors to Zlatibor and all lovers of natural wonders.
