The last weekend of February in Republic of Srpska is expected to bring predominantly sunny weather with variable cloud cover and above-average temperatures, according to the Republic Hydrometeorological Service.

Forecasters predict mostly sunny and warmer-than-usual conditions, with somewhat cloudier skies in the eastern parts of the region, clearing again toward the evening.

Morning temperatures will range from -2°C to 2°C, dropping to around -4°C in higher elevations. Daytime highs will reach between 14°C in the east and up to 19°C in the western areas.

Winds will be light, occasionally moderate, and variable in direction.

On the first day of March, sunny intervals with moderate cloudiness are expected to prevail, keeping temperatures above seasonal averages. Cloud cover will increase during the second half of the day.

Minimum temperatures will range from -1°C to 3°C, and down to -3°C in mountainous regions. Maximum daily temperatures will range between 13°C and 18°C.

The warm spell is set to continue into the beginning of next week, with morning lows between 0°C and 5°C, or around -3°C in higher altitudes. Afternoon temperatures will remain steady, ranging from 13°C to 18°C, signaling an early taste of spring across the region.
