According to Andrijana Pekić, president of the association, the exhibition will offer a brief overview of biodiversity research carried out on Majevica with the aim of obtaining protected area status.

Over the past year and a half, extensive research of plant and animal life has been conducted on Majevica, confirming that the area is home to a large number of rare, protected, and valuable species of both flora and fauna, Pekić emphasized.

She explained that all research findings have been submitted to the Institute for the Protection of Cultural-Historical and Natural Heritage of the Republic of Srpska, which, in accordance with the Law on Nature Protection, is obliged to prepare a formal study.
