WHERE CHILDREN LEARN AND NATURE IS PROTECTED

The Speleological, Mountaineering and Ecological Society "Mačkića kamen" from Ribnik has launched a new project titled “Walk, Learn, Protect – Discover Ribnik”, aimed at promoting environmental preservation and ecological education through practical, hands-on activities.

According to the Society, the area along the Ribnik River will be transformed into a space for learning, socializing, and collective care for the environment.

In the coming weeks, the project includes the installation of three educational boards highlighting the natural and cultural values of the region, the organization of a workshop for children, and a large-scale environmental cleanup.

“This project is our way of giving new life to Ribnik — as an open-air classroom, a place where both knowledge and respect for nature grow,” stated representatives of SPED "Mačkića kamen."
