HIDDEN GEM OF CRVANJSKO LAKE: PEACE IN THE HEART OF NATURE

Nestled on the serene plateau of Crvanj Mountain, at an elevation of 1,058 meters, lies a hidden gem of nature – Crvanjsko Lake, also known as Uloško Lake.

The lake stretches about 400 meters in length and 200 meters in width, with a maximum depth reaching up to 25 meters. The crystal-clear waters are believed to be fed by several underwater springs, according to local residents. 

To the west, the lake is watched over by Mali Vrh, a peak standing at 1,274 meters, while its northern side is embraced by dense beech forests, creating a natural amphitheater around the lake.

Adding to the charm of this place is the Jezernica stream, which quietly flows out of the lake and feeds the Neretva River, connecting this small piece of paradise with the greater world. 

Crvanjsko Lake is not just a destination for hikers and adventurers but a place to enjoy the simple beauty of nature, far from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
