Sarajevo is set to become the epicenter of regional and international tourism this September! From September 25 to 27, 2025, the TOURISM EXPO SARAJEVO will take place at Skenderija Center, bringing together hundreds of tourism professionals, businesses, and travel enthusiasts from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Balkans, and beyond.
This year, the event takes on a truly international character, with the coastal city of Ulcinj, Montenegro announced as the official partner of the fair. The partnership adds extra value to the expo, as visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore Ulcinj’s rich tourism, cultural, and culinary offerings — from long sandy beaches and historical heritage, to local gastronomy and adventure tourism.
“It is both an honor and a pleasure for the Tourist Organization of Ulcinj to be the official partner of the Sarajevo Tourism Fair,” said Ćazim Hodžić, Director of the organization. “This collaboration reflects Ulcinj’s growing role as a recognized and attractive destination in the regional market. Bosnia and Herzegovina remains one of our most important source markets, and our presence in Sarajevo is a key step toward deepening regional partnerships and presenting new developments for the upcoming season.”
OVER 300 EXHIBITORS AND 90+ STANDS
Around 300 exhibitors from across the region and the world will showcase their offerings across more than 90 stands — including travel agencies, hotels, tourism boards, airlines, transport companies, event organizers, cultural promoters, and digital tourism innovators.
The fair is designed not only to connect industry professionals but also to offer the general public insight into the latest travel trends, top destinations, and exciting new experiences. TOURISM EXPO SARAJEVO 2025 is a must-visit event for anyone in the travel industry — or simply in love with travel.
KNOWLEDGE, INSPIRATION, AND INTERACTION
Throughout the three-day fair, visitors will have access to a rich program of panels, lectures, and interactive workshops covering topics such as sustainable tourism, digital transformation, rural and adventure tourism development, and international destination marketing.
Industry experts, entrepreneurs, and institutional representatives will share insights, while hands-on workshops will provide practical tools and skills for improving travel services and guest experiences.
Special focus will be placed on promoting Ulcinj as the partner destination, through culinary tastings, cultural performances, and networking events with tourism professionals and local authorities.
“With Tourism Expo Sarajevo 2025, we want to create a space where knowledge, innovation, and inspiration meet,” said Azra Džigal, President of the Organizing Committee. “From discussions on digitalization in tourism to exploring destinations like Vojvodina and Zagreb, the event promises both professional value and emotional impact. We’re especially proud to host a speaker from Intrepid Travel, the world’s leading small group travel company, and offer insight into authentic travel experiences.”
The cultural side of the fair will include live performances of traditional sevdalinka songs, showcases of local crafts, and presentations that highlight Sarajevo’s and the region’s authentic heritage. Visitors will also explore tourism tech innovations such as AR applications “Vladarice Balkana” and “StećakLand”, merging culture and technology in new and exciting ways.
WIN A DREAM TRIP TO TURKEY — AND MUCH MORE!
In addition to education and networking, the fair will also feature an exciting raffle with over 20 valuable prizes for visitors.
The grand prize is a trip to Turkey for two, including transport, accommodation, and excursions, made possible through a partnership with M97 Tours. Other prizes include weekend getaways, travel equipment, accommodation vouchers, gift packages of traditional products, and more.
