TURQUOISE PARADISE – VIEW FROM THE OTEŠA CAVE

In the heart of Piva Nature Park, on the shores of the magnificent Piva Lake in the municipality of Plužine, lies a breathtaking natural wonder – Oteša Cave.

Located about four kilometers from the Rosulje pier in the direction of the Mratinje Dam, this cave is accessible only by water, giving it a unique charm and a sense of untouched beauty.

The interior of the cave is shaped like a spacious hall, offering a perfect view of the lake’s turquoise-blue shades. The color of the water changes throughout the day, following the play of sunlight, shifts in weather, and the seasons, creating scenes that remain etched in memory.

The cave walls shimmer in blue tones, thanks to copper minerals and the reflection of the lake water. Oteša is also an important habitat for numerous bird species, making it a captivating destination for both nature lovers and photographers.
