WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE FIFTH “POTKOZARSKA TRPEZA”

The citizens’ association “Potkozarje Through Time”, in cooperation with the humanitarian organization “Serbs for Serbs”, will organize the 5th Potkozarska Trpeza on November 16, 2025, at the Parish Hall of the Church in Gornji Podgradci.

This traditional event, held under the slogan “Around the Table, We Always Gathered”, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the eating habits and culinary culture of the Potkozarje region. It also serves as a meeting place for local hosts and all those who keep the traditional Potkozarje products and recipes alive.

RICH PROGRAM

The program begins at 12:00 PM with an introductory lecture on the eating habits and food culture of Potkozarje, followed by the official opening ceremony at 12:30 PM.

At 1:00 PM, visitors can attend a presentation titled “Potkozarje Is Preserved Through Birth”.

The highlight of the event will take place at 2:00 PM, when guests will witness the making of a traditional Potkozarje pie over 10 meters long.

The manifestation continues at 3:00 PM with the announcement of the most beautiful yard in Potkozarje, as well as the presentation of awards and recognitions to the participants of Potkozarska Trpeza.

The organizers invite all homemakers, hosts, and others who wish to present their authentic Potkozarje products to apply for participation. The application deadline is November 10, 2025.
