The central and largest event was the ceremonial parade in Banja Luka, along with a drone show featuring symbols of the Republic of Srpska. Those present in Banja Luka could see the geographical map of the Republic, the red-blue-white flag, a peace dove, monuments of Sutjeska and Kozara, and other symbols that evoke the rich past and the sacrifices made for freedom.

About 3,000 members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, public and civil sectors of the Republic of Srpska participated in the ceremonial parade.

After the parade, a concert was held where Danica Crnogorčević performed her latest song 'For the Life of Srpska', followed by performances by Baja Mali Knindža, Miroslav Ilić, and Aca Lukas. At 8 PM, synchronized fireworks began throughout the Republic of Srpska, as well as in Belgrade, while the public service broadcasted the spectacular fireworks at the tower, repeatedly playing the greeting 'Happy Birthday, Republic of Srpska'.

The sky 'blazed' above the Banja Luka Kastel, Doboj fortress, Herzegovinian Gračanica, and Prijedor. During the celebration of January 9th, the Palace of the Republic and the Cultural Center 'Banski Dvor' were illuminated in the colors of the Serbian flag.

A monument to Dr. Miodrag Lazić was unveiled today at the Dr. Miodrag Lazić Promenade in East Ilidža.
