PERFORMANCES OF NUMEROUS STARS FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE ORTHODOX NEW YEAR

Orthodox believers around the world are marking the New Year according to the Julian calendar tonight. The so-called Orthodox New Year, on the night of January 13th to 14th, will be celebrated in numerous squares throughout the Republic of Srpska.

 In the largest city, Banja Luka's singing groups will be promoted, with planned performances by members of the singing groups RKUD 'Pelagić', KUD Čajavec, KUD Sveti Sava, KUD Piskavica, Music Atelier of Jelena Stanišić, followed by Damjan Vračar, Balkan Concept Orchestra, and the young Danilo Milosavljević. The stars of the evening at the Orthodox New Year's celebration will be ethno singer Danica Krstić and actor and singer Milan Vasić, with a performance also by the Brass Band 'Barka Brass'.

Jelena Tomašević will perform at the Orthodox Square in Derventa for the Orthodox New Year's celebration, and a rich program for children is also expected.

One of the most popular vocal soloists and interpreters of spiritual and ethno music from Montenegro, Danica Crnogorčević, has announced a concert in Pale on January 13, 2024. The residents of Foča will have the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor concert by the famous Užice group 'Daire', who have been performing throughout Serbia and the region for the past decade. In Bijeljina, the celebration of the Orthodox New Year will be brightened by a performance of the group 'Legende' in the city center square. In East New Sarajevo, the Orthodox New Year's Eve will be celebrated with a concert by the famous Yugoslav group 'Piloti'. The winter magic of Doboj will be enhanced by performances of Ćana and Stefan Milošević's orchestra.
