The traditional Festival of Tourism, Economy, Gastronomy, and Culture "Zdravofest" in Gradiška gathered numerous participants, citizen associations, cultural-artistic societies, hunting groups and sections, flower producers, guardians of traditions, and customs of Kozara and Potkozarje last weekend.
The host was the Tourist Organization of Gradiška, together
with the city administration, public institutions and companies, and many
citizen associations and cultural-artistic societies that helped with this program.
"Zdravofest" is one of the most significant events in the Gradiška
region. Here, we showcase the richness of our tradition, culinary arts, and
customs," emphasized the organizers.
"The participants include artisans, creatives, florists, and growers of various plants, as well as mountaineering associations, guardians of traditions, and folk customs. In the cultural and artistic part of the program, the City Choir 'Lira' and cultural-artistic societies from our city and guests from Serbia and Banja Luka performed," said the Gradiška Tourist Organization.
"The large attendance is a clear sign that we have
something to show and attract tourists with. This program demonstrates our
great potential, which we strive to use more and better," said Zoran Adžić,
the mayor of Gradiška, during a visit to stands with traditional dishes for
"Nezavisne novine."
Drago Oljača, a producer of ornamental plants and flowers
from Brestovčina near Gradiška, said he had participated in most of these
events and that this year's "Zdravofest" was one of the most massive
and best-organized.
"This is an opportunity to showcase our products, demonstrate our activities, and exchange experiences. I gladly respond to invitations to participate," said Oljača.
