FIRST RAKIJA EVENING SCHEDULED IN DERVENTA

The Tourist Organization of the City of Derventa has announced the first-ever "Derventa Rakija Evening," a new event dedicated to celebrating the tradition, craftsmanship, and quality of rakija production. The gathering will take place on July 10 at Liberation Square in Derventa, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

According to the organizers, the event will bring together rakija producers and enthusiasts with the aim of promoting local traditions, homemade production, and the exceptional quality of one of the region's most recognizable spirits.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of rakija, meet the producers behind the labels, and enjoy an evening filled with music, socializing, and a relaxed open-air atmosphere.

"This unique event will gather producers and lovers of rakija, with the goal of promoting tradition, domestic production, and the outstanding quality of this iconic drink from our region. Visitors will be able to sample different types of rakija, get to know their producers, and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere accompanied by good music and socializing under the open sky," the Derventa Tourist Organization said in a statement.

The organizers are inviting all distilleries and registered rakija producers to take part in the event and showcase their products to visitors from Derventa and beyond.
