ARE YOU GOING TO THE 15TH VIŠEGRAD BRIDGE DIVING COMPETITION?
On Saturday, August 24th, at 5:00 PM, Višegrad will host the 15th annual sports-tourism event, "Diving from the Višegrad Bridge," organized by the Višegrad Tourist Organization with support from the Višegrad Municipality.
As in previous years, the event gathers divers from Serbia,
Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving as the highlight of the summer
season in our town. The goal of the event is to showcase the natural beauty of
the Drina River, promote the historic bridge, and attract visitors who have yet
to experience Višegrad.
The first "Diving from the Višegrad Bridge" event took place in 2007, the same year the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
"We invite all adventure and nature enthusiasts to join
us and enjoy this unforgettable event," said the Višegrad Tourist
Organization.
