This area has captivated archaeologists, who have been returning to this site for the past six years to conduct ongoing research.

The remains of a large church, measuring eight meters in width and thirteen meters in length, dating back to the fourth century, have been uncovered in the middle of the village cemetery in Milavići.

This discovery is considered a true gem and an extraordinary archaeological find.

So far, these are the only material traces from the Early Christian period discovered at this site.

The local residents have long referred to this place as "Crkvina," a name confirmed by church records, providing further evidence that a place of worship once existed here. Adding to the uniqueness of this archaeological site is the discovery of an intact and well-preserved baptismal font, as reported by RTRS.
