FREE ZMIJANJ EMBROIDERY SCHOOL

The humanitarian women's association "Duga" is organizing the "Little School of Zmijanj Embroidery" again this year, through a self-financing project, for students aged 8 to 15.

This workshop will begin on July 1st and conclude on August 25th, 2024.

So far, 65 students have completed the Little School of Zmijanj Embroidery. We are proud of their results, as well as their humanity and love for our tradition. If you want your child to attend the Little School of Zmijanj Embroidery, you can register them by sending a Viber message to the phone number 065/176-599 or in person at the Duga Ethno Gallery, Srpska 14. As part of the project, participants will visit the Museum of the Republic of Srpska, the National and University Library of the Republic of Srpska, and the Banski Dvor Cultural Center. They will learn many interesting facts related to local history and tradition, as well as what empathy is and how to be humane - state representatives of the association.

All activities are free of charge.

The required information includes the child's name and surname, year of birth, the name of the school they attend, and the parent's phone number - the statement adds.

Workshops will be held at the Duga Ethno House, (entrance from Kralja Petra I Karađorđevića Street, opposite the District Court, before the entrance to CIPS) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
