“The Gomionica Monastery is a holy place where God’s name has been glorified for more than 500 years. The monks and nuns who lived in the monastery over the centuries devoted their lives to serving God and our people. In the times before modern printing machines, the monks of Gomionica Monastery wrote and copied important books, painted icons, and created various objects for the needs of the monastery,” the author notes in the foreword of the book.
