In March 2024, the Republic of Srpska welcomed a total of 33,215 tourists, marking a 4.9% increase compared to February 2024. However, despite the rise in arrivals, the number of tourist nights decreased by 4.1%, totaling 85,238 nights.
Compared to the same month last year, March 2024 saw a 2.5% decrease in tourist arrivals and a 3.2% decrease in tourist nights.
Out of the total tourist influx in March 2024, 15,466 were domestic tourists, while 17,749 were international visitors. Domestic tourist arrivals decreased by 3.8% compared to March of the previous year, whereas international arrivals experienced a more modest decline of 1.4%.
The majority of international tourists came from Serbia (7,089), followed by Croatia (3,171), Slovenia (2,201), Montenegro (857), and Turkey (508). Arrivals from other countries remained below 500.
According to data from the Republic of Srpska Institute of Statistics, the highest number of tourist nights in March 2024 was attributed to visitors from Croatia (16,651), Serbia (15,700), Slovenia (7,377), Montenegro (1,804), and others.
