The swimming season at the Bregovi pool and the open Olympic pool in Trebinje officially ended on Monday, and the Public Institution “Bazeni Trebinje” proudly emphasized that this was one of their most successful summers so far.
The director of the institution, Bojan Okuka, said that both the results and the visitor turnout were excellent, while public feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
“This summer we recorded the best attendance at the Bregovi pool in recent years. We invested a lot of work and resources in maintenance – the water was changed more frequently, we prevented algae growth, renovated the toilets, and ensured that all equipment was functional. Our staff took care of every detail on a daily basis, which resulted in very high user satisfaction,” Okuka highlighted.
According to him, the open Olympic pool also met expectations.
“Visitors were satisfied, we received no complaints, and although the season was somewhat shorter due to rainy weather, the results were more than satisfactory,” added Okuka.
Meanwhile, the regular annual overhaul is underway at the indoor Olympic pool, running from September 1 to 15. The works include a complete water change in both pools, disinfection, facility repairs, regular servicing of pool and thermotechnical equipment, as well as calibration of chemical dosing instruments.
“We will probably refill the pool earlier, but until the water temperature reaches the optimal 26 degrees, we will not reopen it. Our priority is the safety and comfort of our users,” Okuka explained.
He added that “Bazeni Trebinje” continuously listens to public needs and takes into account constructive user suggestions, since the ultimate goal is to provide citizens with the best possible service.
