VIŠEGRAD READY FOR THE CELEBRATION OF HANDICRAFTS AND TRADITIONS

This year, the Tourist Organization of Višegrad Municipality is organizing the 11th annual event "Golden Hands of Podrinje."

The event is scheduled to open on June 15, 2024 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM in the Byzantine Square within the Andrićgrad tourist complex. More than 20 exhibitors from Serbia, Montenegro, and the Republic of Srpska have confirmed their participation. Visitors will be able to see and purchase handmade products, souvenirs, honey, homemade herbal preparations, as well as fruit and forest products.

The event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Višegrad, Mr. Mladen Đurević, and the opening ceremony will feature a performance by young vocalist Mirna Karabatak from Višegrad. This year, the event will also include a competition for the best-decorated Slava bread, provided there are enough participants. Voting will be conducted through ballots given to all participants and some guests at the opening ceremony, ensuring no one can vote for their own entry. Cash prizes are planned for the top three places.
