IN THE SPIRIT OF CREATIVITY: CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR THE "KOČIĆ AWARD"

The Organizing Committee of the 59th Kočić Gathering has announced a public call for the "Kočić Award" for 2024.

According to the call, the "Kočić Award" is given for a body of work written in Serbian in the fields of literature, linguistics, and literary criticism that exemplifies high scientific, artistic, and professional values in the spirit of Kočić's creativity.

The award consists of a Certificate and a monetary prize, which has been increased this year to 5,000 KM.

Nominations for the "Kočić Award" can be submitted by literary associations, publishers, libraries, educational and scientific institutions in the field of Serbian language and literature, as well as individuals. Proposals must be submitted in written form with an explanation.

Proposals should be sent to the Department of Social Activities of the City Administration of Banja Luka, through the reception office of the City Administration - office 14, in a sealed envelope marked: for the "Kočić Award" for 2024, or by mail - registered, to the address: City of Banja Luka, City Administration, Department of Social Activities, Trg srpskih vladara 1, 78 000 Banja Luka.

The deadline for submission of proposals is June 30, 2024.

The "Kočić Award" will be presented to the laureate at a ceremonial academy organized as part of this year's "59th Kočić Gathering."
